Competitive Salary and Benefits

Due to growth, our practice at Blackpool Warbreck is looking for an enthusiastic, professional veterinary surgeon to join their team. The practice is located in a lovely coastal town, just one hour from the Lake District. After qualifying from Glasgow, the JVP Caroline Ross spent her early years as a vet in farm practice, and then moved into small animal practice over 20 years ago. She came to live on the Fylde coast in 1997 and is enjoying a mix of work and family life with her partner and 2 children.

You will be joining a local practice where our Veterinary Partner has clinical freedom and you will also have the support and benefits of working for the Vet Group. The practice has a lovely family atmosphere, and many long standing team members.

The practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and is purpose built to industry leading standards, having state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, in-house laboratory and ultrasound facilities.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have experience although a newly graduated vet would be considered. The role can be either full or part time, including a weekend rota, but with no OOH. There will be some sole charge, depending on experience.

Benefits

As you would expect from the market leader in small animal veterinary care we offer a supportive and friendly working environment together with career development opportunities, an excellent package and great benefits that include; competitive salary, CPD allowance and exclusive company discounts and rewards - including 20% off at Pets at Home and the Vet Group. Newly qualified vets will be supported in the practice, and by the Graduate Training Scheme which offers CPD and social events for those starting out on their veterinary careers.
