The Pets at Home Vet Group operate over 480 vet practices across the UK employing a total of 5,500 colleagues.  The only joint venture opportunity for ambitious veterinary surgeons in the UK we are committed to delivering a first class standard of care in our national network of small community driven small animal practices. 

Responsible for the delivery of Total Facilities Management (TFM) services across the Vet Group in-line with the agreed service level agreement and FM strategy.  Based in Handforth Cheshire 

  • Operational management of the Facilities Team ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service to the Vet Group including all JVPs, the Support Office and Specialist Division.
  • Line management of 4 direct reports in the delivery of reactive, compliance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in-line with appropriate contactor partnership service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Management of Facilities projects to include asset replacements, capital expenditure (capex) works and space management.
  • Risk management: maintain JVP adherence to statutory compliance requirements by delivering best practice guidance and support.  


  • Preferred:
  • NEBOSH certification

  • BIFM Level 4



  • Essential:
  • Experience of delivering TFM services to multi-sites – 3+ years

  • Contract Management

  • Managing and leading a team


  • Preferred:
  • Project Management experience

  • Experience in delivering facilities services to healthcare and/or clinical environments
