Part Time Receptionist 
 
We are offering you the chance to join our busy, hands-on team in our Poole Vets4Pets practice as a Receptionist to start as soon as possible. 
 
Role
Your focus is to provide exceptional front of house service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - you will provide a link between clients and the clinical team. By utilising your excellent client service skills you will ensure the highest level of client satisfaction, therefore encouraging repeat business. This includes greeting each client, offering support, guidance and expertise as well as managing payments and future bookings confidently. We use an electronic booking system so computer literacy is essential. 
 
You will be required to work part time, 24 hours per week: 
Wednesday: 10.00am - 7.00pm
Thursday: 8.00am - 5.00pm 
Friday (3 in 4): 10.00am - 7.00pm 
Saturday (1 in 4): 8.30am - 5.00pm

You are a friendly and welcoming face for clients when they arrive at the practice, you are able to provide guidance by keeping yourself up to date with our available services and practice protocols. You are calm, attentive and always focus on the clients’ needs. You will bring enthusiasm and drive to your role and your passion for excellent client service is matched with a love of pets. You can deal with everything that is thrown at you, from comforting a client who has had some bad news about their pet or sharing in the joy of a new puppy’s first visit to the vet. Along with your fellow colleagues, you create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the practice. 

Qualifications/Experience

Previous experience in a veterinary environment is preferred. The successful candidate would require competent maths and IT skills. They will also need to be confident with face to face and telephone client relations. As well as be able to work from own initiative and work well within a team environment.
