Gloucester Companion Care - Registered Veterinary Nurse Or Student Nurse - Full/Part-time 

We are a friendly and driven practice seeking an enthusiastic full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our growing team. With this particular position we are happy to consider either an experienced/newly qualified Nurse/ or a student nurse already enrolled in the nursing course. 

Our practice is situated in the Pets at Home store giving us great exposure to new and varied clients.  We also have a high percentage of insured clients allowing for variation of case loads and exposure for additional development, and operate our own OOH care.

Our bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment.

We are a progressive team and have ambitions to provide world class clinical care at the very heart of our community and we need great people to join our team to help us realise this vision. 

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have good general veterinary nursing experience, great customer service skills, be enthusiastic and have a genuine interest in animal welfare and enjoy the variety provided by the clients and colleagues alike. 

We are looking to recruit someone on a full or part-time basis and you would be required to work weekends on a rota basis, OOH are required again on rota basis which will be in addition to your basic salary.  We offer a great working environment and varied caseload with wonderful clients.
The team consists of 4 Vets, 5 RVN's and 2 SVN's and a supportive reception team which makes a great working environment.
Jake Koopman (our Veterinary Partner) encourages additional learning and development in areas of interest.
