The team at Oadby Vets4Pets are looking for an additional qualified full/part time veterinary nurse to join them and they would like to take this opportunity to tell you a bit more about themselves, the role and their fantastic practice!

Person Specification

About you:

  • You are a confident veterinary nurse with a passion for small animal care
  • You have a genuine love of the profession and the desire to continuously improve
  • Honesty and integrity is key to everything that you do
  • You enjoy meeting clients, building relationships and working in a close knit team
  • You strive to grow and utilize your skills each and every day
  • Your attention to detail and passion for caring for the patients thoroughly shines through
  • You have no problem “mucking in” and helping your colleagues when needed

About the role:

  • Salary of between £20-23k pro rata, dependent on experience
  • 20-40 hours a week over 5 days
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays from 8am-4.30pm with time off in lieu (3 day weekend the following week)
  • Equal mix of consultations, theatre work and in-patient care
  • Funded CPD up to 3 days and support towards Certificates
  • Generous incentivized holiday entitlement up to a maximum of 5 weeks
